Based north of  Seattle, WA USA area, Brett is a painter and sculptor. 

As a painter, Brett typically creates  works on canvas with oils, often starting with a freehand sketch in charcoal. The painting is fluid and gestural, with mark making and colors applied in layers to build up depth and contrast. Brett is fascinated by bold and striking colors, fluid movement across the canvas, and the contrast of opaque and translucent areas across the canvas.

As a sculptor, generally in wood and metal, Brett bends and shapes, welds and manipulates pieces to create fluid forms that are often colorful and expressive. The movement is made in the moment, looking for those areas of interest and the way elements interact with each other to create the whole.

Brett has sold works all over the world and is in many private collections.
