Statement
My work explores the quiet poetry of light—how it softens, transforms, and reveals the emotional resonance of the natural world. Through mixed media, I build layered landscapes that drift between abstraction and recognizable form, inviting the viewer into a space where memory, atmosphere, and sensation converge.
Color is my guiding force. Soft pastels and luminous blush tones unfold across the canvas like shifting weather or the slow rise of dawn. These hues are not merely decorative; they serve as emotional frequencies, shaping the viewer’s experience of calm, warmth, and introspection.
Texture plays an equally essential role. I incorporate acrylics, pastels, and other materials to create surfaces that feel alive—tactile fields that interact with light throughout the day. This materiality is central to my process: each layer is a gesture of presence, an imprint of time, and an echo of the landscapes that inspire me.
My paintings exist in the threshold between realism and abstraction. They evoke skies, blossoms, and horizons without ever fully defining them, inviting viewers to complete the image through their own memories and emotions. In this way, each work becomes a contemplative space—an intimate pause in which light is felt rather than simply seen.
