Statement
My work is rooted in storytelling and the exploration of interpersonal relationships. I am interested in moments of emotional tension, intimacy, and quiet conflict—situations that often unfold between people without being explicitly articulated. Rather than depicting clear narratives, I construct fragments of stories that invite the viewer to complete them through their own experience. I primarily work with watercolour and ink, media that allow for immediacy, vulnerability, and a balance between control and chance. I also use acrylic paint, which enables me to build stronger contrasts and layered structures. Gesture, repetition, and rhythm play a central role in my process, reflecting the cyclical nature of human interactions. My visual language oscillates between figuration and suggestion. I am drawn to ambiguity—what remains unsaid, unfinished, or only partially visible. Through painting, I seek to create spaces where personal memories, shared emotions, and fictional narratives intersect.
