Sosha Mehrnia is a 6-year-old emerging artist from Wellington, New Zealand. He began painting at the age of 4 and quickly developed a passion for expressing his ideas and emotions through color and shape. His artworks often reflect themes of nature, imagination, and freedom.
Sosha’s talent has already received international recognition. One of his paintings was featured on the cover of a children’s literature and art magazine in Iran. In 2024, he won 3rd prize in the ReEarth International Art Prize for his painting “A Turtle Surrounded by Pollutants.”
Most recently, in May 2025, Sosha was honored with a Special Recognition Award for Excellence in Art in the 15th “Seascapes” Online Art Exhibition held by Light Space & Time Gallery.
At a young age, Sosha continues to explore the world through art creating freely, dreaming boldly, and inspiring others with his visual voice.
