Statement

I am Kabir, a multidisciplinary artist whose practice is rooted in close observation of emotion, movement, and meaning as they unfold in everyday life. I work across painting, photography, sculpture, and writing, allowing each project to guide the choice of medium in response to the ideas being explored.
My work is shaped around moments of pause and attention. Each piece functions as a contained visual experience, formed through careful use of light, material, texture, and form. Rather than direct storytelling, I focus on suggestion and restraint, inviting viewers to engage with the work through their own perceptions and interpretations.
I am particularly drawn to the emotional potential of minimal gestures. By reducing elements to their essential qualities, I explore the balance between stillness and movement, presence and absence. This process allows subtle details to carry depth and resonance without excess.
My practice includes both independent projects and selected commissions. I engage with work that allows space for reflection, experimentation, and ongoing inquiry. Each project becomes part of a larger, evolving exploration shaped by process, material investigation, and time.
Across all mediums, my focus remains on clarity and sensitivity. Through this practice, I aim to create work that encourages contemplation and connection, offering quiet yet meaningful encounters that extend beyond the visual surface.
