Stefano Recanati is an artist from Bergamo, Italy, born in 2002. His journey began at an art high school and continued at the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan.
His artistic exploration started with experiments that introduced him to the forms that would accompany him throughout his career.
The artist focuses on a project involving abstract forms, changing materials, formats, and techniques while maintaining a strong and sincere connection that determines every phase of his work: ideation, study, design, creation, and installation. This bond is evident in the meticulous craftsmanship, especially during the sanding phase.
A pivotal transition occurs when moving from two-dimensional to three-dimensional works. The forms come to life, maturing from simple, almost decorative, to “concepts” existing in space. No longer just descriptive, they hold a poetic presence. This way, his long-sought goal is achieved more successfully, as the viewer is struck by the positive energy of the forms, thanks to their fluidity and saturation.
